The Saskatoon Lions Speed Skating Club was founded in 1942 by Clarence Downey, also known as Mr. Speed Skating of Saskatchewan.  Our club has a long history of Provincial, National, and Olympic skaters.

We are a vibrant community of skaters ranging from ages 4 to masters. SLSSC hosts many competitions, including fun mini-meets and provincial and national events. Our focus is on building community, friendships, sportsmanship, and confident and dedicated athletes.
